Case Logic has always been the case of choice for many whether they have desired to protect their CDs or, in this case, a mini netbook or netbook. Many on-the-go people take their netbooks with them to the store, their local russet shop, and, of way when they journey. Many airports are now equipped with free Wi-Fi high speed access and you not only find the affair people carrying their netbooks, but also people who want to stay connected on a layover. I have another sleeve I use, but Case Logic has one up on it in the protection specialty with the posh, thick quilted padding.

PROS:

+ The padded clamshell point is shock strong.

+ The internal stabilizing band will keep your netbook from shifting.

+ Here is sufficient storage space space inside for a power fund if you are toting a mini netbook.

+ This attaché has well-built, convenient, sewn in padded handles unlike many sleeves on the market.

+ Very lasting with thick, underline seams.

CON:

* I always like to test anything I will be carrying media material in for water resistence. I placed it under the faucet and it waterlogged water up like a sponge. I was expecting the water to bead off, but was quite surprised at the rapid captivation of water. Austerely keep in mind that if it is raining you may wish to place this in a plastic bag.

This case is an brilliant quality case, especially if you are preparation to journey. I especially liked the toughness that can be both seen and felt. I have the black case that will not show stains as readily as the other colors. The only drawback is that it is not water strong, but Case Logic makes no claims in this regard and I cannot take away from the rating I feel it deserves because of this. I austerely needed to make people aware of this just in case they are thinking of compelling their netbook out packed in this case during severe weather. All in all, I’m quite pleased with this case and would highly recommend it to any on-the-go person looking for a lasting, high quality case for their small netbook!

Bought this for a new 6 cell lenovo x120e netbook. Fits like a glove. I wanted something with a bit more protection than a sleeve, and this fits the bill. Case is NOT water-resistant, but it does provide significant cushioning & protection from small drops. Looks nicer in the photographs though. You can use the netbook sitting in the case but not not compulsory due to heat buildup. No space for a power adapter but I was not looking for one either. Get a larger case if you need to stuff that in as well.

If you are looking for a case for a 11.6 inch netbook, want something more than a sleeve and want a snug fit look no further.

First off, I have an Acer Aspire One 8.9″ netbook, which is very nearly an inch thick. This case gives it about an inch of space nearly it, but the top bulges out slightly when zipped closed. Here is no room in this case for the power supply or the mouse.

This is a very lasting case with hard-ish sides, excellent zippers, and nice thick padding on the inner top. Here are ridges on the inner bottom so that you can have airflow when you type. I kind of wish here was a small more padding on the bottom, but then my netbook would sink into the padding and I wouldn’t get any airflow. Here is also an elastic strap on the inside that’s held to keep your netbook from shifting nearly, but it’s sort of a waste of time. First of all, the case keeps the netbook in sweet well, and the ridges on the bottom keep it from sliding anyway. Second, the elastic is one piece and sewn on both sides, so you have to keep your netbook closed to get it in. That means you have to pull it all the way out of the elastic to open it. If you have to pull it all the way out anyway, then why does it matter if here are airflow ridges on the bottom? Give it more padding, and then just take the whole business out to use it.

I’m thinking of cutting the elastic and attaching velcro to accurate it.

That said, this is very well-built, the seams are tight, the zippers are smooth. Empty, this is very light, and the black-on-black point is nice. I’m not going to throw my netwook on the floor in this case to test it, but it’s safe in my carry on. I’ve by no means had a problem with Caselogic, and I look forwards to using this on vacation.
