Stories of Pioneers who are Recovering from Parkinson’s Disease

During pregnancy there are many decisions to be taken to have a healthy baby. Care with diet, teeth, drugs, etc.. should be a priority for the expectant mother. The result of all that makes the mother will end up affecting the baby she has inside. Following are some recommendations:

Diet
During pregnancy, your diet is important, because you’re also feeding your baby. This is why it is preferable that you take good decisions about your eating habits. While some of us will we hunger to pregnancy, others with eating gives us a lot. You may even feel cravings for things that previously did not eat … in itself, each experience is individual. The important thing is to eat healthy and varied form. So gaining weight will be ideal for the best development of your baby.

Dental Care
Dental care is extremely important during pregnancy. Pregnancy affects every inch of our body including our teeth and our gums. During pregnancy, the plaque develops more quickly and can make your gums swell, become infected and even bleed. This is why it is important to visit your dentist during pregnancy and to report that you’re pregnant, always.

Cigarette
If you are a smoker, the best time to quit is before pregnancy. Remember that when you smoke, your baby will also be smoking. Similarly, if you do not smoke, but others in your family do smoke, remind them that cigarette smoke second hand also hurt the baby. Lays down rules to reduce the amount of cigarette smoke at home. Cigarette smoke causes stress to our bodies rather than relax. When you smoke a cigarette, your heart beats faster and your blood pressure rises … so does your baby.

Alcoholic Drinks
When you eat an alcoholic beverage, your baby is consuming alcohol as well. Drinking alcohol during pregnancy can cause your baby to be born with fetal alcohol syndrome, the major cause of deformities in children. Sometimes, damages for having consumed alcohol during pregnancy are not visible once the baby is born, however, long-term consequences are very serious. Although drink alcohol in small quantities, is dangerous. The best we can do for your baby is to avoid all alcohol during pregnancy. All types of alcohol is dangerous, as there are equal amount of alcohol in beer in a glass of wine or liquor.

Medications
It is very important to let your obstetrician about
all medications you are taking, because the medications you take can affect the baby. This includes aquellosmedicamentos prescribed by a doctor, medicines available without prescription, natural products and vitamins. As a precaution, you should only take those medications prescribed by your doctor.

Street drugs
If you use drugs like marijuana, cocaine, heroin, crack, or another child you are also using these drugs. Drugs are dangerous for both you and your baby. All drugs can affect your baby, who can create dependency on these drugs, from your belly.

Caffeine
Many people unknowingly consume caffeine … there caffeine in both coffee, tea, colas, chocolate and even many medicines. Although there are no known effects of caffeine might have on the fetus, we do know that caffeine is a stimulant that can make us nervous. For this is good idea to reduce the amount of caffeine you consume. The recommendations would drink no more than two cups of coffee or tea per day, read the labels on food, drinks and medicines, and select those products that contain less caffeine.

Disease
Try to avoid contact with people with colds, cough, sore throat or flu. If you get sick, first of all, you should inform your doctor. Do not take any medicine without first informing. Apart from medical treatment should rest and drink plenty of fluids, if at all.

Travel by car and plane
As long as you can sit in front of the guide you can drive your car. It is very important to always use seat belts. Many airlines require a medical clearance to travel during pregnancy, especially in the last months of pregnancy. Research ever before with the airline before you buy the ticket. Some travel tips for pregnant would be the wear comfortable shoes (to prevent swelling), drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration, walk inside the plane every hour to maintain circulation in the legs, and finally, do not cross your legs. If the country you’re traveling requires some type of vaccine, the better you consult your physician. This will tell you if the required immunizations are safe or not for your pregnancy.

Work
In most cases you can continue breastfeeding even when pregnant, unless the work is too forced or make any health risk to the fetus.

Sometimes we focus a lot on new mothers and parents forget. For them, having a child also means embarking on a new adventure of life. Like all changes of course that will generate fear and not know what to do, but do not worry.

I bring you some tips on what to do after your child is born.
* As a companion to your wife should support her in any time from the beginning. The best insurance is to show both emotionally and physically.
* As the baby grows you will discover your strengths in the relationship. Some make the “practical work” others are responsible for maintaining his wife with love so that you can convey to the child.
* Being present makes a difference. You see how you incorporate the wishes of the child and mother through the signals. Looking to spend more time at home.
* Is more than knowing the phrase “to help others you must be good yourself.” From here we believe the same, eat and drink healthily will give you all the energy you need. Take a rest at home.
* Do not be afraid to ask questions at any time and who is, this is what will make you take proper care to all members of your family.
* Is likely to begin to experience some strong emotions. If you were a hard man you’ll look moved by feelings of love and fear that occur when the couple receives their first child.
* You must talk to your baby, even if you do not respond or think you do not understand your voice will begin to be familiar and have a positive effect on him. Children experience a sense of calm to the outside world through your voice.
* The postpartum period brings a lot of spontaneity and unpredictability to your life.
Everything is ready, nothing is more beautiful to live every moment with your child without stress.

I find it very interesting to note that there are ways to channel the requests of parents who advocate full equality before the law and this initiative is a good example of the Platform for equal and non-transferable permits by birth and adoption.

I, and I think I have already noted, I get involved in movements working for improvements in the rights of mothers and babies, which I sincerely believe, a dyad are important for the healthy emotional development of children and happiness women, and I consider essential to the extension of maternity leave and protection measures to help mothers to keep breastfeeding, or if you are bottle feeding, to feed their babies just themselves.

However, I personally involve in these “battles” does not mean you do not understand in an egalitarian society that parents should be able to act as such and also make their fair share in those first moments after birth.

Pretty bad I found that Spanish parents run out as promised four weeks of paternity leave, which I consider the minimum acceptable. And of course, that the father could be during those first six months I think the child needs his mother would be wonderful. So, the struggle to expand the rights of parents, in equal or at least improving the deplorable situation, I find it commendable.

The Platform for equal and non-transferable permits by birth and adoption for parents, formed by many organizations, is aimed at achieving greater equality in the assumption of paternal and maternal responsibilities, and therefore believes that inequality in the permits to meet the new child should be modified. You guys you think?
